Cengiz Gül, CEO of EMPHealthgroup, offers insights based on years of experience in the field of health tourism management and organization. After graduating from medical school in 1992, he worked in various administrative roles in the public sector until the late 1990s. Following his enrollment in the Health Management Master’s Program, he transitioned to the private sector in the early 2000s. He served as Deputy General Manager responsible for Contracted Institutions and the Claims Departments at Medex International.
In 2002, he joined Esas Holding. Initially, he worked as Deputy General Manager responsible for Business Development and Quality at Medline and later served as the Health Investments Coordinator at Esas Holding. In 2010, he moved to the Anadolu Medical Center, a foundation of Anadolu Industry Holding. There, he held positions as Deputy Medical Director, Deputy Financial Affairs Director, and Director of Business Development and Domestic Sales. He is currently a Member of the Board and CEO of EMPHealthgroup, while also continuing his academic career as a faculty member in the Health Management Department at Üsküdar University.
Over the years, he has held memberships in TÜSİAD’s Health Committee, TOBB’s Health Services Assembly, and the Health Tourism Assembly. He continues to serve as a member of the Advisory Board for USHAŞ and as a Board Member of OHSAD (Association of Private Hospitals and Health Institutions) and Chair of the Health Tourism Committee. He is married with three children.
